Ella is a 1-year-old Golden Retriever who was spayed approximately 4 months prior. She has no lameness and no current problems. Treatment of the normal internal scar or adhesion after her spay surgery will reset the balance to her pelvic bones, shoulders and some spinal vertebrae - ensuring optimum mobility as she ages.

Osteopathic evaluation and treatment of a horse with the common problem of castration scar or adhesion. Through changes in nerve flow it causes a rotation and fixation of the sacrum and one or both pelvic bones (so a sacro-iliac fixation) causing hind end issues. A pattern of 3 vertebrae in a row fixated in the upper lumbar spine (mid-back) indicates the gelding scar issue. The gentle, mechanical release of the gelding scar (high up via the sheath) resolves the pelvic bone issue leading to big changes in how horses can move athletically.
